"Fasten your seatbelts Folks!..."

The critically acclaimed debut CD "Walkin on Thrills" gave the Bluebirds air beneath their wings. In spite of having played together since 1989, this was the true startsignal for the band. With an evergrowing schedule their hobbie has become fulltime project. The reasons are many, such as the succesful mixture of american rootmusic with blues, r&b and cajun that has made the Bluebirds fill an empty space between the styles.

If you have missed the Bluebirds live it´s a must if you like dancing on the tables in a swinging frenzy that will shiver your timbers!!

April `99 marks the release of the highly anticipated follow-up to "Walkin on Thrills" with a bundle of fresh original r&b tunes that once again were recorded "live" in Mox Studios, Copenhagen.

With the new drummer Jim Ingvarson in the band the Bluebirds becomes more dynamic. Jim is a well established musician in the Scandinavian blues-circuit and sports a long resume with bands such as Nightcats, The Instigators & Carry Bell, Rusty Zin and others.

Magnus Jonson who plays bass has his own way of playing... No picks, no fingers just his thumb and it vouches for a tight and steady sound!

Lee Ericson on the organ and piano supplies the 50´s banging rocking and rolling New Orleans groove in the band and he sure knows his boogie.

Patric Carlson on vocals and guitars is the leader and songwriter in the Bluebirds and he puts the singing first with the guitar as a cocky complement.
